PROTOTYPE NO. 1

Since the start of it's construction in October 2021, Prototype No 1 has greatly changed. Indeed, this apparatus is our first big achievement at PhoenixN. It is approximately 1.5m by 1.5m unit that consists of two containers, a pool filter and a pool pump, who, together, can chemically capture CO2 by turning a hydroxide into a carbonate. This represents the first step in our three step process, and proves the feasibility and scalability of the first part of our design. It is semi-autonomous; however, we are currently working on making the contraption fully autonomous and more efficient. We are planning to make successors to Prototype No 1 to continue improving on the system.
